Another successful year of Charitable Deeds.

Here are some pictures of what we have been doing recently.

Boxing Day Bike Ride - All the Lizards, plus more, got together for a little cycle ride following the Route of the Hastings Half Marathon!!

It was a great day and helped us to raise money for some very good causes!

The 5th annual Winter Solstice Bash was another huge success. WIth awesome music and good company, it was a great evening for everyone!

Also, we had the hugely successful Help For Heros walk from Pevensey to Rye, Many people took part, and we have recently recieved a letter, which you can see below!

So thanks to all of you who helped, supported and took part in everything we did last year!

TLUK are walking

the historic 1066 walk for the Help for Heroes charity. Many service men have suffered terrible injuries during active service at home and abroad. Please join us in supporting this marvellous charity which helps rebuild broken lives and limbs. If you are fit you are welcome to take part, get involved and support them. They have been there for you, now you can be there for them, so please Help our Heroes

The walk will take place on the Anniversary of the “Battle of Hastings”, the 15th and 16th of October.
The 1066 Country Walk is a 31 Miles (50km) and follows the trail from Pevensey to Rye.

The walk will start on Saturday the 15th of October, where we will walk from Pevensey Castle to Battle Abbey. Free overnight camping has been arranged at Battle, at the Senlac Inn. Try to keep tents to a minimum, but bring your own tent if you are unable to share. The bar will be available to us, so refreshments are available. There will also be a BBQ.

On Sunday the 16th of October, we will be walking from the Campsite in Battle to Rye Harbour.

Finally, a reception for walkers, supporters, friends and family will be held at the Senlac Inn in Battle from 2pm-6pm, all welcome, so come along!

Once again, our brother lizard Doss has gone above and beyond the call of duty!

Just months after running the marathon, he decided it just was not enough, so the London to Brighton Bike Ride beckoned.

They are still raising funds for this, they need just £150 total to meet their target. So dig deep and get giving.
